Past

“I have been creative since I can remember. Having artistic parents who have always supported me, it was always my desire to work in the creative industry.

Growing older my interest remained and I went on the Dewsbury College in West Yorkshire to study Graphic Design. After college I joined Huddersfield University on a Creative Imagery course where I specialised in Advertising.

This paved the way for me to join a small marketing agency called The Mix as the junior designer.”

Present

“I have now worked professionally in the creative industry for over 5 years. My current position is as the Senior Designer at Boom Marketing while also running the bolt on printing facility, Mirfield Printing.com.

I also take on freelance design projects on request.

Time away from design mainly revolves around my family. I am a bit of a thrill seeker and have been known to do the odd skydive or bungee jump for my favourite charity.”

Future

“The design industry is fast moving, and there is constantly new software, technology, design trends and marketing avenues to learn about and adapt to. As a designer I look to the future with excitement of what I will be able to create and learn as the industry changes.
